The Gardens are open every day, except for Christmas Day and for certain Events through the year.

Opening Times

9:00am to 4:00pm – January, February.
9:00am to 5:00pm – March.
9:00am to 7:00pm – April.
9:00am to 8:00pm – May, June, July, August.
9:00am to 7:00pm – September.
9:00am to 6:00pm – October.
9:00am to 4:00pm – November December.

Note – The gates are locked at dusk.
Dusk is subject to seasonal variation, so closing times may vary from the schedule at the transitions.

No dogs, except for assistance dogs, to be kept on leads.
No consumption of  alcohol, except with the permission of the trustees.
No riding of bicycles, except for children under the age of 10.

🏰☀️The Sandpit Lives On!🏰☀️The stalls and entertainers may have packed up, however our Giant Sandpit is staying put!We couldn’t let all this sunshine go to waste, so the sandpit will stay in place for the Bocking Concert Brass - BCB on Sunday 28th of June, for one last big dig.There are no parasols, but we’ve left out buckets & spades for some sandy masterpieces. ⛔️We remind you that the sandpit is made of man made materials, so please keep an eye on your little diggers at all times.⛔️We also remind you that we have a large pond in the lower part of the Gardens, so keep little ones close.⛔️Remember to bring your sun hats and suncream.Last chance to dig, the sandpit disappears on Monday the 29th of June, so come make those final memories. 🥰 See you there!Tag us in your sandcastle pics! 😎 ... 🎺We are so looking forward to having Bocking Concert Brass - BCB Rachel Hockley-Warner back in the Gardens this Sunday, 28th June - from 2pm.🎺🌞🎶The weather will be glorious, and the music even better, Coffee House in the Gardens will be open for a sweet treat.🎶🌞Pop down, bring a chair or picnic blanket and get settled in the shade to enjoy the sunshine and singalongs.Entry is free, however donations to the band would be gratefully received. 🥰#brassbands #brassbandessex #bockingbrassband #communitylove #braintreeandbockingpublicgardens ...
