Become a Volunteer

Have you ever experienced that special feeling of being part of a community? Support the Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens, and I’m sure you’ll feel that special feeling. That feeling of community is essential to our goal. No matter our role, we’re all on the same mission together: to maintain, use, and share the Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens, with our local community.

The total area of the Garden is around five acres, incorporating over 200 trees, as well as gorgeously maintained flower beds, a pond, a play area, foot paths and a large grass area, to picnic, relax, or play. If you would you like to be a part of keeping these beautiful gardens looking as magnificent as they do, become a volunteer.
The volunteer gardeners meet every Tuesday morning (weather permitting).

If you would like to get involved, have a basic knowledge of gardening, and are able to work unsupervised, please contact us to find out more.
We look forward to hearing from individuals or couples with an interest in gardening or general maintenance.
